Summary
You can ask for a refund of any AutoBidPilot purchase within 14 days of buying it. You do not have to give a reason. Credits you have already used to place bids cannot be refunded; everything still unused can.
Who sells and refunds
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders: Paddle handles the payment, sales tax or VAT, the receipt and refunds. AutoBidPilot is operated by Amjad Iqbal.
Card activation
We receive a large number of spam and fake sign-ups, so new accounts verify a payment card with a one-time $1 card activation. It unlocks the free welcome credits. You can ask for the $1 back within 14 days. When it is refunded, the account is no longer activated and the welcome credits it unlocked are removed from your balance (credits you already used stay used).
Credit packs
- Within 14 days of buying a credit pack, you can ask for a refund of the credits you have not used. If you have not used any, you get the full price back.
- If you have used some, we refund the unused share of the pack's price, for example 60 of 100 credits unused means 60% of the price.
- Refunded credits are removed from your balance. Credits have no cash value outside this policy and cannot be transferred.
Failed bids
Separately from money refunds, a credit is returned to your balance automatically whenever Freelancer.com refuses a bid or a bid could not be placed, so you only pay for bids that were actually placed.
How to ask for a refund
- Email [email protected] or open a support ticket in the app with the email address you bought with, or
- use the link in your Paddle receipt email, or contact Paddle at paddle.net.
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Paddle. Banks usually show them within 5 to 10 business days.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before disputing a payment with your bank; we answer refund requests quickly. If a payment is charged back, we may remove the credits it bought and suspend bidding on the account while the dispute is open.
Your legal rights
This policy does not limit any rights you have under the consumer law where you live.
