This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage used by AutoBidPilot (https://autobidpilot.com). It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Browsers also offer "local storage", which works in a similar way. We use them to keep you signed in, protect forms, remember your choices and, only with your consent, to measure how the public pages are used.
What we use
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
freelance_autopilot_session | Session cookie: keeps you signed in and holds your session (the session itself is stored on our server). Required. | First-party, strictly necessary, HttpOnly, SameSite Lax | 120 minutes of inactivity |
XSRF-TOKEN | Protects forms and requests against cross-site request forgery. Required. | First-party, strictly necessary | Session lifetime |
remember_web_* | "Remember me": keeps you signed in on this device. Set only if you tick Remember me when signing in. | First-party, functional, HttpOnly | Up to 400 days, or until you sign out |
abp_ref | Remembers the referral code of the person who invited you, so the invitation can be credited when you sign up. Set only when you arrive through an invite link. | First-party, functional, HttpOnly, SameSite Lax | 30 days (or until you sign up) |
Browser storage
| Key | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
abp_analytics_consent | Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies, so the banner does not reappear. | Until you clear your browser data |
abp.sidebar.collapsed, abp.sidebar.sections | Remember whether the app sidebar is collapsed and which menu sections are open. | Until you clear your browser data |
appliedProjects:<your id>, bidDelayEndTime | App convenience state in the bidding screens (which projects you applied to in this browser and a bid cool-down timer). | Until you clear your browser data |
This storage stays in your browser and is not used for advertising.
Analytics and consent
We can use Google Analytics 4 to see which public pages are useful. It is off by default. It only exists on the site if the Operator has configured a measurement ID, and even then nothing is loaded until you click Accept in the cookie banner. If you click Decline, or ignore the banner, no analytics script or analytics cookie is loaded. When you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies (typically _ga and _ga_*, lasting up to about 2 years), receives your IP address (we turn on IP anonymisation) and page-view data, and processes it under Google's own privacy policy. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's browser storage, after which the banner is shown again.
Third-party requests
Some pages load resources from other hosts, and your browser sends them your IP address and browser details when it does: fonts from Bunny Fonts (fonts.bunny.net) on the public site, and scripts and styles from content delivery networks such as jsDelivr and the Tailwind CDN inside the app and on sign-in pages. Where bot protection is enabled on the sign-up and sign-in forms, hCaptcha (js.hcaptcha.com) loads and may set its own cookies or storage to tell humans from bots. These providers' own policies apply to what they collect.
How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in or use the app. Deleting abp_ref only removes the stored referral code. Clearing site data resets your sidebar preferences and consent choice.
Changes
If we add or change cookies we will update this page and its "Last updated" date.
