Clients can spot a copy-paste bid in one line. FreelanceAutopilot would rather skip a project than send one.
Five proposal styles
- Concise & direct. The problem in one line, what you will do, one question.
- Detailed & technical. A short summary, then a numbered plan that names the tools and steps.
- Consultative & question-led. Opens with a diagnostic question and explains how the answer shapes the approach.
- Experience-led. Leads with the most relevant past work from your profile, then ties it to the project.
- Plan & milestones. Splits the work into 2 to 3 milestones with realistic timing and deliverables.
A quality check on every proposal
Before a proposal can be used, it is checked. It is discarded if it:
- is not specific to the project
- uses generic, copy-paste phrases
- contains an email address or phone number
- asks the client to talk outside Freelancer.com
- links anywhere not in your portfolio
- is empty, too short, too long or has unfilled placeholders
It only cites experience you wrote on your profile.
Safe, steady pacing
Auto-bidding works in small rounds, not bursts. The defaults:

Pay per bid, not per month
No subscription and no plans. You use a credit only when a bid is actually placed on Freelancer.com.

A credit is used only when a bid is actually placed on Freelancer.com, by you (Apply Now) or by auto bidding.
Failed bids are refunded
If Freelancer.com refuses a bid, or the proposal fails our quality check so nothing is sent, the credit goes straight back to your balance.
The rest is free
Searching projects, AI proposals, previews and auto-bid dry runs never use a credit.

Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost?
You pay per bid, not per month: 1 credit is used for each bid actually placed on Freelancer.com. Searching, AI proposals, previews and auto-bid dry runs are free. During early access there are no plans; credits are added to your account by our team, so contact us to get started.
What happens if a bid fails?
The credit is refunded automatically. That covers bids Freelancer.com refuses and proposals our quality check rejects (in which case no bid is sent at all).
Does FreelanceAutopilot need my Freelancer.com password?
No. You connect through Freelancer.com's own sign-in (OAuth), and you can disconnect at any time from the Profiles page.
Will it send generic, copy-paste bids?
No. Every proposal is written from the project's own description and your profile, then checked. If it is not specific to the project, is too short or too long, contains contact details or links you have not approved, or reads like boilerplate, it is discarded and no bid is placed.
Can I review proposals before they are sent?
Yes. On any project you can generate a proposal, edit it and copy it yourself. Auto-bidding is optional, and you can stop it at any time.
What does setup involve?
Connect your Freelancer.com account, confirm your skills, pick the client countries you want, set your prices and your proposal style, then place one bid yourself. Auto bidding unlocks after that first bid goes through, so you know everything works before it bids for you.
How fast does auto-bidding bid?
Slowly on purpose. By default it runs every 180 seconds, places at most 5 bids per run and 2 per cycle, and waits 90 seconds between bids. You can change the pace in Settings. It works within your own Freelancer.com account and its bid allowance.
Can I try it without placing real bids?
Yes. Auto-bid runs can be dry runs: proposals are written and you see which projects would get a bid, but nothing is sent and no credit is used.
Does it guarantee I will win projects?
No tool can. FreelanceAutopilot saves you time finding suitable projects and writing specific proposals; the client still decides who to hire.
